Robins Roost House Rules

Please keep in mind that Robins Roost is our family vacation home.  We love it and hope you do as well.  We want each guest to have a positive experience.  Our goal is that you will come to stay again in the future  For everyone's safety and consideration, as well as to avoid any additional charges or early eviction, please adhere to the following:  

• Check-in time is anytime between 4 pm - 9 pm, unless arranged in advance with the host.
• Checkout time is before 11 am on the day of departure.
• Park only in the garage or on the paved space in front of the cabin.
• No shoes in the cabin, please place your shoes in the shoe racks by the entry doors. 
• Teens & children may not be left alone in the cabin, or on the property, without an adult over 18 present. 
• No parties. events, or video recording allowed unless it is stipulated in your rental agreement. 
• No smoking  / vaping allowed inside or on the premises.  (Without exception, this will result in extra charges for professional odor removal.)
•  Sports equipment (E.g. bicycles, skis, snowboards, paddleboards) cannot be brought into the cabin.  They can be stored in the locked garage or outside.
• Only dogs are allowed under our "Pet Policy" and must be under 40 lbs. 
• No dogs allowed on the furniture / beds.  We do provide a bed for our four-legged guests. 
• Pet feces must be cleaned up and placed in the green can with the BLACK lid.  We provide a poop scooper for your convenience.   
• Dogs may not be left at the property unattended.  You must take them with you, or you must put them in a crate / kennel. 
• Full names of all guests must be on the signed short term occupancy agreement.  No unregistered guests are allowed.  
• Please don’t eat or drink in the bedrooms.  
• Please respect the noise curfew.  Quiet hours between 10 pm - 8 am. 
• Make sure to turn off the lights, heat, AC and any electronics when you leave the house.   This includes the rope lights on the deck.
• Windows and doors must be locked when not on the property and upon departure
• Please take care of the furnishings.  Stained and soiled furniture will result in damage charges.
• Do not rearrange the furniture or make modifications to the interior / exterior of the cabin. 
• Please wash the dishes before you leave.  (Washed dishes may be left drying in the drying rack at departure.)
• Please take the trash in each bathroom and the kitchen out before you leave.  Tie the bag and place into the green can with the black lid. 
• No illegal substances allowed on the premises 
• Do not unplug the router or alter the outdoor cameras, lights in any way.  We use them for security when we/guests are not there.  We enjoy watching the wildlife and they help us monitor weather / snow conditions. 
• If you use the outdoor grill, please follow the instructions in the house manual to clean it before you leave. 
• Our plumbing is on a septic system.  You may only flush toilet paper.  Do not flush paper towels, tampons, condoms, wipes or anything that is not provided for you on the dispenser next to the toilet. 
• Guests must disclose if they are bringing any weapons / guns upon booking.  Under no circumstances are weapons / guns allowed to be used in the cabin, or on the property. 
• Board games, video games and toys must be returned to their correct boxes and bins before departure.
• Guests are responsible for monitoring weather, environmental, road, and campfire conditions prior to their stay.
• It is a guests responsibility to secure travel insurance if they wish to plan for unforeseen events / issues.  Host will only refund in accordance with the signed short term occupancy agreement.
